A dental crown is a restorative procedure also known as caps, they are natural-looking covers that fit snugly over existing teeth. At Dentistry of South Florida we make our crowns of porcelain fused to a high noble metal such as gold, we do not use semi precious metals. Crowns conceal cracked, badly discolored, injured or chipped teeth comfortably and quickly.

Crowns offer added strength to damaged teeth, making them less susceptible to injury. In some cases, crowns can be made of all porcelain for aesthetic reasons, or completely gold for strength, if aesthetics are not a concern. Ultimately, they can dramatically improve the overall appearance of your smile.
